- Bali is a popular destination, so expect crowds, especially in the south. Yet, the island has maintained its charm.
- Don’t carry too much cash due to the risk of theft. There are plenty of ATMs in Bali.
- Be cautious with jewelry and valuables to prevent theft.
- Bali pairs well with other Southeast Asian destinations like Singapore for a diverse trip.
And if you happen to forget something, there’s no need to panic. You can pretty much buy everything you need in Bali. Circle K is the most well-known store, and you’ll also find 7-Eleven, though they’re less common.
Be selective about what you pack. It’s much easier to travel light. From my own experience, I always ended up bringing way too much. With 14 – 17 kg, you should be more than fine.
